Why It's Important To Support UK Small Business

Hello sweeties! I want to tell you why it is so important to support your local businesses more than ever. Since UK moved away from EU, new regulations called GPSR (General Product Safety Regulation) hampered small cosmetic manufaturing businesses from trading into the EU and Ireland.

To trade, a business needs a representative that is based in the EU which would cost a rocket to have an agent manage that for us. Myself and my fellow cosmetic manufacturing businesses took the blow and carried on regardless while some businesses had to close in UK and across the water.

However this December 13th 2024 the EU will introduce this regulation to ALL businesses trading goods to EU and Ireland. This is a massive blow to small businesses everywhere who make significant income from these countries. So please, if you can, support your local and national small businesses. We all know times are unnecessarily tough lately and so many good folk and businesses are being shafted left right and centre so let's all stick together.
